The ACHA Medication Administration Class is an in-person training course designed to equip caregivers and support staff with the foundational knowledge and skills required for safe and effective medication administration in home health and assisted living facilities.
This class is led by a certified instructor and focuses on the essential components of the medication administration process, including proper documentation, the "Five Rights" of medication administration, handling and storage of medications, and recognizing and responding to medication errors.
 
This training is essential for those responsible for assisting individuals with their medication needs and promotes a higher standard of care across a variety of supportive living environments.

4. Attend class and bring a copy of your precourse completion certificate with you.If you do not have access to a printer, it can be printed prior to class, just ask the instructor.
5. Successfully complete the class and achieve a passing grade on the test.
6. Claim your AHA ACLS Provider Card.
 

This AHA ACLS RENEWAL Class is approximately 3 Hours.

ALL Provider cards are provided SAME DAY and are valid for two years.

 

You are required to have the current textbook for this course. If you already own one or have access to one before, during, and after the class, you do not need to purchase one.

American Red Cross Babysitter Training Class

Babysitter's Training and Babysitter's Training with First Aid/CPR/AED provide participants aged 11 to 16 years the knowledge and skills they need to safely and responsibly care for children and infants.

These courses are a mix of lecture, video, in-class activity, group discussion, skill practice and skill assessment to help participants build their knowledge and develop hands-on skills.

To successfully complete Babysitter's Training or Babysitter's Training with First Aid/CPR/AED participants must:

1. Attend the full in-person session.

2. Actively participate in all activities.

3. Demonstrate competency in all required skills.

4. Pass all required assessment scenarios as outlined in the relevant First Aid/CPR/AED lesson plan.

 ~ Students will receive both an American Red Cross Babysitter Certificate (valid for 10 years) and an American Red Cross Pediatric CPR/AED & First Aid Certificate (valid for 2 years) upon completion of the Babysitter Training Class.

~ A 30 minute lunch break will be allotted. Unsupervised children will not be permitted to leave the building without parental consent prior to the start of class.

~ Snacks and packed lunch are permitted and encouraged for class.

~ This is a fun, hands-on and interactive class!

~ Parent/guardians will receive a confirmation email upon registration with additional information and details for the class.
